Haley First Volleyball Team Experience

Well playing in the YMCA league was quite interesting. The team I coached was so much better than any team we played. At least the girls got experience with game play and rotation. WE are going to start a private club team in January that will be the opposite. We will be not as good but then they will learn defense. Its been fun coaching Haley and her friends.

2nd annual Turkey Bowl Powder Puff Game

So this years Powder Puff game was a bit cold and interesting. We started playing at 8:30am on the field in the back of our neighborhood. All of the sudden an old lady came out cussing us out and saying we were waking her up. It was Thanksgiving morning. We figured everyone would be up planning their feast. We moved our game to a smaller field and still carried on. My team lost miserably to the dynamic Mallet duo.

Halloween costume fun

We had fun making costumes this year. Haley wore the Dora costume that Mishonne wore for the girls camp skit and Denton wore the swiper the fox. Aliyah was a cute cowgirl country singer. Mishonne was the man in the yellow hat from her dynamic duo day at school and Mom was lucky enough to wear the Curious George costume. Unfortunately it poured rain and we only went trick or treating for a few minutes.

Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual trek to the pumpkin patch with our friends the Pearsons and Beus'. I got to take little Carly's Halloween pics while there. She is so darn cute.

A Trip to Florida

Loren and I got the chance to take a few days off and go to Florida for an early Anniversary trip. Mother Renee and Dad Larry came to watch the kids for us. It was fun to have them in Louisiana for a while. The trip was amazing except for pulling a muscle in my neck the last night. Thanks MOm and DAd.
